This post is a little different, yeah its a face of the night and all that but I thought it would be interesting to wipe off all the makeup and show my real face.
I feel in this day and age girls are so scared to be seen without any makeup even when they are going to the shops for five minutes, I feel makeup is there to enhance the features you already have.
I am a complete amateur when it comes to makeup, it just isn't my thing at all, I don't in any way think i'm remotely good at it, a lot of it for me is trial and error. Usually when I go on nights out, this is the makeup I wear, I don't use foundation daily, just on really big nights out. All the products in the picture above have lasted me well over a year so they are worth it, my contour kit is on its lest leg though, I swear by sleeks makeup range, it is so so so good, I used their powder over my foundation so its matted down a little. For my lips I put on Topshops All About Me on the base and NYX soft matte lip cream in shade Addis Ababa, both of these colours together make such a beautiful shade which I love. My eye shadow pallet from eBay hardly ever gets used, as I don't think eye shadows suit me, but I wanted to try something different so I added a little gold and brown to my lids and I actually really really like them, think i'm going to do it more often when I go out. I added a little bit of black eye shadow on my waterline for more of an effect and the littlest bit of white eyeliner pencil too.
and now... DUN DUN DUN
my face when I wiped all that slap off.
To be honest, wiping off makeup is one of my many joys, I hate stuff like not being able to rub your eyes because you have eyeliner on and things like that. I guess I'm pretty blessed, as all my I've never really had an interest in make-up, so I have grown to feel comfortable with my make up free face. I do enjoy makeup though and how it enhances our features, nothing wrong with that, but sometimes I think its good just to take it all off and realise that you actually are beautiful and don't need to always really on makeup.
OK enough of that soppy stuff, the floral crown I am wearing I MADE IT, I'm so proud of my efforts and I think I'm going to start a little floral crown business sometime soon, as I enjoy making them and floral crowns from other shops are far too expensive, SO HOLLA IF YOU WANT ONE!
Anyways talk again soon, im on a roll with these blog posts!
